Interview is over. I think it went well. The lady seemed to like my personality.

She really liked my answers and seemed to like that I've been to Disneyland as much as I have. (I think she was kinda surprised that I've gone as much as I have this year, but she seemed to like it. :D)

She didn't say it directly, but she seemed to think my personality fit retail or attraction (which is what were my two top choices). It sounded like she thought I'd be really good for the attractions.

Sadly, I have to wait 3-4 weeks to hear whether or not I got the job. *fingers crossed*

On Wednesday, people from Disney were at my school. They have a college program, and were doing a presentation. Basically, we get credit for classes, we get paid, we take classes at Disneyland, and we get to work at the park.

I've done the application, and the web-interview. Now, there's just the phone interview (and, I think, and in-person one). It pays $9.05-$11.50/hour, and it'll be 28-35 hours per week for sure.

I just hope I get it. It starts in January, and goes for 5-6 months, I think. Also, after that, they usually hire the students part-time.

In other news...I've decided where I want to transfer to, and it'll be hell to get in there. I want to go to CalTech, because I've decided I want to do seismology. I'm gonna have to work really hard to get in. Other than that, I have no clue about any back-up colleges. I should probably figure that out.

Well, I'm back. :D

Even though I was ready to come home around the second day, it was still fun.

Well...over on LJ, in the comm. to post the hatchlings and eggs, they aren't allowing anyone to post anyone else's dragons, so, for now, I'm posting all of these here.

What sucks is that, this weekend, I'm not going to be able to post. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, I'll be gone ALL DAY be cause of a field trip for a class. :/

Hopefully posting them here will help until then. (And, no, all of these aren't mine, but I DO have permission to post them [*has to say this because of that new rule...*]).

I hate to do this, but I may have to make my journal friend's locked. I prefer to leave it so everyone can see because I have friends who don't have IJs, but on one of my older posts, people decided it would be a great idea to anonymously post comments that were just...spam. One wasn't even in English. I went and deleted them, and I changed it so that my journal couldn't have anonymous comments, but I may make it friend's locked anyway.

I don't want to have to go and look at comments made anonymously anyone tries to post one. I made it so they would be screened, and it says I'd have to look at them and decide. I just don't want any anonymous comments.

It has less than half a day, and was rescued by someone. We're trying to get it to grow up, and we REALLY don't want it to die. :

So, the earthquake the other day...it was worse than the news, and other people, were making it sound. We had some damage here to the closet doors. They're mirror ones, and one has a HUGE crack in it now. It started off relatively small, but it's gotten larger just from opening and closing the door. :/

On top of that, I read a news story about the school I go to. 40 buildings were damaged, and 8 still haven't reopened. One of them is the campus bookstore, the others are classrooms. And yet, the news is still talking about how there was no serious damage.

Electrical damage, books falling off shelves, ceiling tiles falling, glass from merchandise everywhere. That's only some of what was said to have happened.

Now, the buildings that were damaged were, of course, the older ones. Some of the buildings have been around since before World War II. The campus used to be a military hospital. None of the newer buildings were damaged, but still...to have 40 buildings with some sort of damage, and 8 that still aren't open...that sounds pretty bad to me, especially considering some of the classrooms may not open again for several weeks.

And yet, everyone is talking about how it was only a 5.4.

I guess the earthquake has to have the same impact as the Northridge or San Francisco ones for anyone to take it seriously.

It was a 5.4!

And an aftershock that was a 3.8!

I had gone back to sleep for a bit, and kitties woke me up right before it hit.

Sadly, a lot of the stuff I'd just cleaned up fell, so I have to clean it up again.

They say that there's a 15-30% chance of it being a foreshock rather than the actual quake itself.

5-10% chance of it being a foreshock for a larger quake.

Two kitties are hiding now.

It startled me, to say the least.

Everything is okay here, though. No gas leak. No water leak. No injuries.

I've been hearing a number of sirens, but nothing here. It lasted for quite a while, too. At least a minute, maybe more. Or it felt like it did, anyways.

Watching news stuff about it now.

Yes, I know I have a lot. That last one is on an account I made more recently because there were abandoned eggs that NO ONE was picking up...so I made the account and have been snagging mainly abandoned eggs.

These three dragons need some help! The first only has half a day left to hatch, and only needs a bit more. :< It's almost there...Any help making it hatch would be appreciated. The second has 1.24 days, and the last two have over two. These ones are the ones that are in the most danger of not hatching.

Okay...so a friend had something posted, and I decided to check it out.

It's one of those things where you get an egg and just see if you can get it to hatch. And these ones are dragons. I managed to get 3.

I should be working on my Springkink prompts.

I have 12 completely done, and two more (I believe) to type up and then they'll be done. So, only 26 more to start AND finish.

Don't feel like it right now, though. *is tired after going to Disneyland, not getting enough sleep, and because it's raining*

I don't really want to go back to school tomorrow, but I have to.

I guess I'll just have to work on my Springkink prompts tomorrow at school.

I also want to make a new layout for my IJ, but I have to figure out how to do the banners and such. I have an idea of what I want to do, but I have to decide I want to do it (in other words, I'm being lazy right now, and don't really want to do it right now).

My last layout was kinda busy, so I just have to decide what exactly I want to do. For now, I'll probably keep it Transformers, but I have to decide which character(s) I want to use for it. I'll decide that later, though.
